Easy/Quick Vanq Areas
Me and a friend are planning to do some vanquishing in Tyria. We both play ranger, i can run anything on my bar, and can set up heroes to run whatever. While he is limited to proph and EOTN skills, and his heroes are very limited skillwise.
Basicly i would like some pointers about areas to vanquish that can be done quickly with our setup. If there is a certain build that is especially strong in that area, let me know that aswell.
Thanks.

Being that you can run any build, id look into Discord heros, aslong as you can provide a quick condition, then watch things die. Generally a good build to run is assassins promise(E) You move like a dwarf (Condition) Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support (Fun to have about 4-6 running around the place when defeating a large group)
And for places, well seems your going for the title, theres no point dancing around areas, pick a methodical route, like il be starting in areas closest to ascalon, and then finnishing furthest away. Makes sence to me. Although not looking forward to the fire island.

if ur up for it, take a team from temple of ages all the way into the 6 and 4 man areas. that way u get 8 players and it makes the areas much much easier. of course, that is a giant chain vanquish and i would suggest that u have an entire day to dedicate to it ;-)

The Old Ascalon areas are good for a Ranger pair. The only real threats are swarms of Grawl Healers, which can be particularly nasty if you aggro too many. Having [[Broad Head Arrow] helps a lot, and spreading it with [[Epidemic] makes it even more useful. The other threat are the occasional horde of hammer-wielding Grawl, who will quickly overrun you with [[Hammer Bash] if you aren't prepared. Bring some knockdown protection on your healer such as [[Aura of Stability] and micro as needed. For your friend who has only Prophecies and EoTN, [[Incendiary Arrows] with [[Volley] works well for the smaller groups found in the four-man areas. Or he could bring [[Practiced Stance] + [[Choking Gas] for further pressure on the healers.
For your remaining two party slots, I suggest bringing a curses Necromancer and the healer of your choice. With your two Ranger setup, you should be able to get through almost all of Ascalon with ease. For the Northern Shiverpeaks, remember your fiery bows and you should be able to take those down easily as well.

@Lewis - I would rather start with easier areas, my mate generally doesnt play for long periods of time, so im after quicker easier ones we can do together for a start, then occaisionally do longer ones when he has the time.
@Eragon - Read the title, it says quick, that will be our plan at some point, but as said above, not now.
@Ariena - I wouldnt have expected Ascalon to be easy with dual rangers, but well give it a go tonight - any specific areas you would recommend?
We just finished vanquishing Diviners Ascent, that was pretty easy and didnt take us to long.
On the topic of discord heroes, i havnt been using that setup as from looking at the build on PvX, it doesnt look like rangers could manage it very well. Does anyone have experience running a discord setup as a Para/War/Ran and could give me a generall runover of how it works with limited enery pool.
At the moment im just using Sabway and sometimes Smiteway.

Volley removes preparations, so I wouldn't recommend this; although choking gas is an amazing skill in PvE, especially when combined with [Practiced Stance].

I would suggest leaving from Yak's Bend (party of 6), working down the east side of Traveler's Vale (a few fights with Ice Golems and Stone Summit) and vanquishing Ascalon Foothills, which has only around 55 foes. Pull carefully and watch out for knockdowns from the hydra Meteor and you should find this an easy vanquish.
Regent's Valley is another possibility. Even though there are some grawl there, they tend to be in small groups, with nothing like the massive cluster in Eastern Frontier or the big multi-boss area in the ruins of Ashford.
The Breach is also an easy vanquish, with almost nothing to fight except Charr.
When you get to areas with Charr, remember to display your Ebon Vanguard title! It helps against Charr in Ascalon, too.

Weve already vanquished Travelers and Foothills some time ago.
Tonight we did Old Ascalon, Livia decided she wasnt going to heal Masters a few times, so we finished with a bit of DP, but overalll it was a nice vanq.
With Regent and The Breach, we have another 2 nights sorted.
Keep any further suggestions comings
Thanks.

Thank you for pointing that out, I don't know what I was thinking there!
Kryta shouldn't be that difficult for you setup either (even vs Rotscale) with the exception of The Black Curtain. That one is a pain unless you come prepared knowing where popups are, and take it cautiously. Other than that, you should be set all the way through Kryta and the Jungle, possible through the Desert!
